  We've been there several times. Never been disappointed. Even when they are super busy the service is good. The catfish special is always good.

  Let me start with, Do not let the front keep you away.
  
  Heard about this place from a couple biker buddies. Me and another buddy hoped on our bikes and made a day trip out of it. When we arrived there were 3 cars and our two Harley's in the parking lot. At first we were wondering if they were even open. It was almost noon on Sunday.
  
  We walked in and were greeted by very friendly staff. We walked out to the patio and took a seat over looking the lake. The seating was nice, the view was pleasing and staff attentive.
  
  The food was reasonably priced and well portioned. As far as flavor, it was very delicious.
  
  I've read some comments complaining about very slow service. Keep in mind that this is a local restaurant in a farming town deep in the heartland of Florida. If you want instant anything, local & rural is not the place to look. That being said, our service was timely considering the environment, a laid back chill community.
  
  Again let me stress if you are in a rush stay on the main drag and hit one of the national fast food joints that specializes in instant heart attacks in a box. If you want to enjoy the scenery, chat with locals and get away from the rat race for a bit, Jaxsons is your place.
  
  By the way we order several appetizers, two sandwich platters & drinks (non-alcoholic) and paid less than eating at the chain restaurants.

  Great food. Beautiful and relaxing view on the patio. Would highly recommend. I believe that the reviews about the service are old. The service we received was fast and friendly.
